Lucy is a pretty little chocolate chamoisee doe with blue eyes. Funny story. She was my least favorite kid born in 2020. She was wild as a march hare, and I could NOT sell her. So I kept her, intending to sell her pregnant or in milk.

She managed to work her way up to my absolute favorite doe of 2021. She kidded quietly one day, pushing out two giant boys without a grunt, settled right down, and was the absolute queen of the milkstand.

As a second freshener, Lucy continues to give more mature does a run for their money. She is very well-behaved, and just strikingly gorgeous. Also, guess who produced my prettiest doeling this year?

Full disclosure, because you can see it in photos: She looks like she has something wrong with her face. I was really worried it was wryface, but as it appeared suddenly, I wasn't convinced. My vet examined her and discovered that she had knocked out two of her back teeth on that side and misaligned her jaw...fighting or something. So that sunken cheek gives the illusion of a crooked face. She still eats fine, and it's not genetic. Poor girl. :P
